The Problem You travel. You have an e-mail account. Your colleagues and business partners expect to be able to reach you while you're on the road. And you need an easy and reliable way to connect to your e-mail account or use other Internet services when you're travelling - and line interference prevents you from making a connection. And then, when you finally do get connected, the long distance charges from your hotel room are astronomical.

The Solution InstaNet & HomeGate. The principle behind our relationship with HomeGate is a simple one - we give you global roaming access to the Internet and your home ISP through a local telephone call - through over 1,000 points of presence in 750 cities in 155 countries. So far! HomeGate is easy to use and inexpensive. You can download our Internet connectivity software for free. HomeGate even provides a 24-hour-a-day helpdesk that keeps on helping until you're up and running. And you can use your existing e-mail address and your existing password. [Note: access to proprietary e-mail systems is not yet supported.]

The Benefits It's global. These days, no matter where you travel, people expect you to be able to stay in touch. And sometimes the phone is not enough. You need to read and review documents, and to send your comments and reports to colleagues and business partners everywhere. HomeGate gives you global reach.

It's easy.
Free software, no passwords to remember, your own e-mail software, a local telephone call.
You'll save money. At the moment, if you're accessing your local ISP via long-distance telephone call, you'll pay long distance costs and the exorbitant dial-out charges imposed by some hotels. HomeGate connects you to your home ISP through a local telephone call, usually right in the city you're visiting.
We're there to help, 24-hours-a-day. We know that technology is sometimes not as intuitive as it should be, and we understand time zones, so our helpdesk never closes. And it's staffed by a friendly customer support team that is committed to making your problem go away.

Going global. Two billing plans let you to take advantage of HomeGate a way that suits you best:
HomeGate North America - If you do most of your travelling within North America (excluding Mexico), the HomeGate North America plan is designed to take advantage of relatively low Internet access costs on that continent. The basic charge is US$5 per month, then US$0.10 a minute within the United States and Canada and US$0.50 a minute elsewhere.

HomeGate Global -
If you do most of your travelling outside the United States and Canada, the HomeGate Global plan comprises a basic charge of US$15 per month, then US$0.10 a minute within North America (excluding Mexico) and US$0.20 a minute elsewhere.

Here's a rule of thumb to help you choose the best plan for you: if you expect to spend more than 33 minutes per month on-line while outside the United States and Canada, then the HomeGate Global plan will save you money. Otherwise you'll want to select the HomeGate North America plan.
